About Palm Neon
Palm Neon is a field guide to the real Florida behind GTA 6's Leonida. Every page pairs one in-game place with its real-world counterpart, shows what matches and what doesn't, and tells you how to actually get there. It is an independent, one-person fan project — not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
How a location earns its badge
Every pair carries one of three confidence levels, and we would rather downgrade than overclaim:
- Confirmed — Rockstar's own description or footage points at the real place unambiguously (a real title reused, a landmark shown side by side).
- Likely — strong community consensus plus indirect evidence: a name that puns on the real one, a matching position on fan maps, a matching character of place.
- Speculative — an open question we track in the open rather than guess silently. These pages say so in the first paragraph.
Each page also shows when it was last updated, and every fact about the real place is checked against maps, park services or tourism boards before publishing.
Sources we use — and don't
Game-side facts come only from official material: the Rockstar Games website, the trailers, official screenshots and presentations such as the August 2026 Extended Look. We credit the community mapping projects that cross-reference that footage. We do not build pages on leaked builds or leaked maps, and we do not reproduce Rockstar's artwork, screenshots or text.
Photos
Photographs are of the real places, licensed under Creative Commons or in the public domain (mostly via Wikimedia Commons and U.S. federal archives). Each one is credited on the page with a link to its license.
How the site is funded
Some travel buttons are affiliate links. If you book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you; partners never influence what we write. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.
After the game ships
GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026. Once the official map is out, every pair on this site gets re-verified against it, and badges move up or down accordingly. Corrections are welcome — if you spot a mismatch, tell us.
